Goku attacks the entire Red Ribbon army, but not head on. He sneaks into their base and defeats their warriors one by one as he sneaks up on them. Slowly, their numbers dwindle as Goku picks off more and more members of the Red Ribbon army. When Goku has nearly destroyed the entire army, their military leader Taopaipai steps in. He is a world renowned martial artist and assassin, and as the fight begins he appears to have the upper hand quite soundly. Then when he fires one of his strongest blasts at Goku, Goku blocks it with his forearms and realizes that Taopaipai isn't as strong as him. He nails Taopaipai head on with a Kamehameha and Taopaipai is really in big trouble. Trying to salvage the fight, Taopaipai throws a gernade at Goku and leaps straight into the air. Thinking fast, Goku kicks the gernade straight up after Taopaipai and it explodes, killing the villain.

By this time, the next Tenchi Budocki has rolled around and Goku heads to the tournament, confident that he can win this time. He manages to reach the final round once again, and this time he faces a man name Tenshin-han. Tenshin-han is the greatest pupil of Tsurusennin, who is a rival of Goku's own master, Kamesennin. Tsurusennin also happens to be the brother of Taopaipai and he is very upset the Goku killed his brother. Throughout the fight, Tsurusennin encourages Tenshin-han to kill Goku, which is one of few things that is explicitly against the rules of the worldwide tournament. Tenshin-han manages to defeat Goku, although just barely.
