Paiku-han

Paiku-han is a dead warrior from the West Quadrant and the prize pupil of the West Kaio. He first appears after the Cell saga, sent by Dai Kaio to stop Freeza, Cell, King Cold, and the Ginyus who were causing problems in Hell. Paiku-han defeated them easily, without Goku's help, demonstrating his massive power.

Paiku-han appears again shortly thereafter, having entered Dai Kaio's Heaven Tournament as the clear favorite to win. He reaches the final round, easily, against Goku. After they both stop fooling around, Paiku-han removes his training weights and Goku goes Super Saiya-jin, starting the real fight. Paiku-han is winning most of the way, but Goku catches him off guard by teleporting and knocks him out of the ring. After the fight, they're both disqualified by Dai Kaio for touching the ceiling but he promises them each a private lesson anyway.
