Kamesennin is a perverted old man who lives on a hermit's island in Kame House. He is known as the turtlemaster, because he often wears a turtle shell on his back. Besides being a perverted hermit, he is also earth's foremost martial arts trainer and immortal. He first appears in Dragonball after Goku returns his turtle, and he gives Goku Kinto'un. He also gives them a dragonball after he gets a glimpse of Bulma's panties (or lack thereof). He appears again to put out Fry Pan Mountain with a Kamehameha and do some more panty peekin' when he sees Goku try to imitate the Kamehameha and get it right it one try. Seeing this amazing feat, he invites Goku to come train with him.
He appears again after the dragonballs are used when Goku and Kuririn arrive at his house for training. He gives them all sorts of crazy tasks to build their strength and teaches them the martial arts, making them some of the strongest people on earth. He enters the Tenichi Budocki that they attend as Jackie Chun to stop them from winning and getting big heads, but Goku almost manages to defeat him. He appears several more times throughout dragonball similarly, giving Goku and Kuririn training tasks or fighting in Tenichi Budockis as Jackie Chun.
In Dragonball Z, Kamesennin is no longer a strong fighter compared to everyone else, and he watches all the battles from Kame House. He hasn't changed his habits around females and spends most of his time looking through porno and watching female excercise programs with his jaw on the floor. He is occasionally serious and really worries about Goku and the safety of the earth much more than he lets on.
