Bardock

Bardock is a lower class Saiya-jin warrior and he is the father of Goku. He makes his appearance during the Bardock TV Special, leading a group of Saiya-jin warriors in exterminating the people of a valuable planet. As Bardock goes to kill one of the inhabitants, it magically curses him with the power to have visions of the future. Bardock is distracted by these visions and injured, so when he returns to planet Vegeta he must stay behind and recupperate while his team flies to their next mission.

When Bardock goes to catch up with his team, he finds that they have all been killed by Dodoria at Freeza's request. Outraged, Bardock flies back to planet Vegeta and tries to raise a rebellion among the Saiya-jin to overthrow Freeza. He sees visions of Freeza destroying their world, but most Saiya-jins won't believe him or join him. Bardock then leads those he has convinced towards Freeza's ship. Freeza appears outside in space and Bardock charges his most powerful energy blast, then hurls it at Freeza. Freeza laughs and grows an enormous energy ball from his finger tip, which he flings at Bardock. The blast destroys Bardock's blast, Bardock and his followers, and then the entire planet Vegeta. As Bardock dies, he has a final vision of his son Kakarrot as an adult and sees him defeat Freeza.
