Baba-di is a short little magician who appears at the Tenichi Budocki at the beginning of the Buu saga. His father, Bibi-di, created the ultimate demon Buu long ago and it is Baba-di's goal to revive Buu and rule the world. Using a unique form of mind control, Baba-di is able to take control of others, making them into his "Majins", warriors that bid his every command.
At the tournament, Baba-di arrives with some henchmen, including Dabura, the prince of darkness who resembes Satan and is under Baba-di's Majin control. They drain Gohan of his power, revealing that he is the great Saiyaman, and cause some general havok, completely upsetting the tournament. Then Vegeta allows himself to be turned into a Majin, but Baba-di is unable to fully control him. He goes on with the plan, however, and resurrects the demon Buu. Baba-di turns Buu into a Majin and spends some time riding around on him, destroying everything, but Buu breaks free and kills Baba-di, bringing his role in the series to an end.
