Android #18

Android #18 is one of three androids created by Dr. Gero to kill Goku in the Cell saga of the non energy absorbing model. She is shown to be the more sensible of the pair when with her brother Android #17, often stepping in to point out more logical courses of actions and "ruining his fun". Android #18 actually makes her first appearance in the Trunks TV Special. In Trunks' future world, she and her brother and heartless killers that enjoy destroying simply for destroying's sake. With the end of the special, the two androids don't reappear until Dr. Gero activates them, in the past.

When Android #18 is brought to consciousness in the series, it is not the first time that Dr. Gero has awakened her, and fearing that they may be put back into storage, Android #17's first action after their release is to kill Dr. Gero, while Android #18 sets about freeing Android #16 from his state of stasis. Then the three set out to find Goku and kill him, which is the primary directive given them by Dr. Gero. The Z fighters try to stop them, and Android #18 begins to battle with the newly Super Saiya-jin Vegeta. At first Vegeta seems to be getting the best of her, until she stops shamming and reveals her true power, squashing Vegeta like a fly. At the end of this encounter, as Piccolo, Trunks, Tenshin-han, and Vegeta all lay dying the androids ask Kuririn, who was to scared to fight, where Goku is. Kuririn doesn't tell them, and Android #18 laughs and kisses him on the cheek, then they leave.

They leave for Goku's in a hijacked van, much to Android #18's displeasure as she continually points out that just flying there would be infinately faster. By the time they reach Goku's, he has already left and Cell is loose, looking for Androids #17 and #18. On Android #16's advice, they had to Kame House, but Goku is gone and Piccolo fights Android #17. Then Cell arrives, defeats Piccolo and Android #16 and absorbs Android #17. While Tenshin-han distracts Cell, Android #18 manages to escape, dragging the injured Android #16 along with her. Cell eventually catches up to them and absorbs Android #18, becoming perfect.

Android #18 doesn't appear again until during the Cell Game, when Gohan hits Cell so hard that she pops out and Cell regresses from his perfect form. After Cell is defeated, Kuririn begs the other Z fighters to let Android #18 live, and they use the new dragonballs Dende creates to wish Android #18 into a human. She and Kuririn then get married, and they have a daughter named Maron. She convinces Kuririn to stop shaving his head and spends the rest of the series throwing the final round of Tenichi Budockis to Mr. Satan in return for cash.
